"The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." Proverbs 16:4
Has it ever crossed your mind that the security of a Christian is solidly grounded on the unwavering love of God? This blessed assurance is far deeper than all our circumstances and emotions.
My dear Friends, know that God is always working on behalf of his faithful and obedient children! We may not know exactly how, but please understand that He is always working out his divine purpose through us. All He requires from us is to trust Him! Scripture says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).
God is actively involved in every detail of our lives. He uses our errors and ugly situations to generate a better outcome as a way of bringing glory unto himself.
Supremely, the cross demonstrates that just as God took the very worst event in history and turned it into the very best; he can take the worst things in our lives and use them for good.
This may sound silly but it's something to ponder to fully understand the certainty of God's promises to us. Sometimes, we need haters to push us into the fiery furnace, into the Lions' den, and even the kiss of Judas to serve as springboards to put us in our ordained purposes.
It's quite common for us to take it personally when folks discrete us, betray us, assassinate our personalities, and recruit enemies against us for their own selfish gains.
My word of encouragement to you is to count it all blessings--for God will surely show up mightily on your behalf if you don't grow weary and become unfaithful. In Apostle Paul's letter of encouragement to the first Church in Europe, Philippi, concerning such a matter, he wrote, "for it is God who works in you to will and to act to fulfill his good purpose" (Philippians 2:13). May you remain steadfast in the things of God as He works out the best for the attainment of your divine purpose.
